I loved the series till the last episode of the 2nd season.. dropped the fucking ball on that one IMO.

I loved the original when I was a kid and was hesitant to watch this one, but a friend lent me his season 1 DVDs and I was hooked. Where the original was a campy space adventure show this one is a heavy drama and I have to say it is really good. I also saw that the producers of this show are going to be doing another show called Caprica which will follow how the humans made the cylons and how they gained intelligence and rebelled against us.

I am so sick of spinoffs.

I think that BG has hands-down the best production value, acting, cinematography of any show on tv right now.

If you want to catch up, I hear that several cable companies are running a free "catch up" special for BSG on PPV (it's free though) in hopes of getting people into the new season.

Exactly. The series has grown up. This new remake series is far less geared towards kids as the original was, and is much more mature, well-written, intense, and highly charged with sexuality.

I've definitely been won over as a fan, which suprised me because I honestly expected it to be just another cheesy remake of an old classic favorite. Glad I was wrong.

Its a great series......too bad most shows nowadays have holes you can drive a truck through. I mean come on........NO ONE caught on that Baltar was nuts and seeing an invisible hottie cylon?

I think a lot of people thought he was kind of nuts, but I think they did it in a way that it looked like it was stress from the situation they are in and the fact that he is a genius and they tend to be a little bit crazy.

Season 3 is going to be incredible. Yes, I am so Galactica crazy I have all of the diecast models.... in triplicate. :/
