Their path to Baghdad will see resistance instead of a clean trip. This will not be good if we get into a real fight in Baghdad. They also pointed out that the trucks to refuel our vehicles and bring supplies to the front of the war will be slowed due to this. It's also been pointed out that some of our vehicles could run completely out of fuel if there were any resistance slowing the convoy from getting to Baghdad in a hurry. I've seen it several times already.
The more I read your posts the more I think you don't even read the articles or watch TV. This may very well be no problem but it has the potential to be a huge fuck up.

Assuming that the "they" you are referring to is the media and their "experts", I am not interested in what they have to say in regard to the strategy being used. In addition I have been a student of war and I completely understand the strategy of this campaign. There is nothing really new about the strategy (pretty much classic) and I am also aware that there are risks involved in any military plan/action. This campaign is going as planned and is slightly ahead of schedule and there is not any reason for alarm at this point in time. So far we have been being reasonable with the amount of force we have applied. If any serious problems develop, our forces can increase the use of force and Iraqi forces do not have the ability to do this, period. All is going well.
