    Now I know why America is falling apart.

    It's our fault.

    I just called Kaiser Permanente to get health coverage. I currently have blue cross.
    To make a long story short the woman on the phone was INSANELY rude and condescending. I explained I was not very knowledgeable about their health care plans and I needed help finding a good plan to fit my situation. She informed me maybe I should learn about the health care system before I call a company. I informed her that was HER job, and if she was not capable of helping I'd like to speak to a supervisor. She replied with "whatever" and I was escalated where I let the person know the previous rep was a buffoon. This is the short version.

    People are idiots, rude, and overpaid in this country and I now understand why everything is melting.

          I'm guessing you don't live in the south. If you did, you would be used to this sort of incompetence by now.

                  If I ask a normal simple question to any callcenter employee in Holland they have to switch me to the manager who is also clueless in most occasions.

                  From all the people I hired & fired throughout the years, just one stood out with something he said when I hired him.
                  He said he was proud to work again after being unemployed for 5 years and now he has the respect back from his family and friends and he will prove to me he's worht it.
                  I still employ this guy after 18 years....

                                  Had the girl in KFC tell us the ONLY way to get diet pepsi was to buy it in the can, and that we could not get all dark meat for the meal. So we got the regular box and went to sit down. Looked at the change and she had shorted us 50 pesos. about 5 dollars. The wife went to deal with it, and over heard a local order all dark meat, as well as diet pepsi and got what he wanted.

                                      I can TELL she was sitting there picking her nails planning her weekend while talking to me as if I was mentally retarded and she was king of the world. I guess it just bothers me when people are INTENTIONALLY rude for absolutely no reason.

                                      Anyway this may go on in larger quantities elsewhere but I guess what I am getting at is that sort of behavior will not help the world.

People should be forced to IQ test and should be placed in jobs according to their IQ and problem solving skills. If you can't use deductive reasoning, don't be in a position where choices need to be made dynamically for example.
