I don't smoke weed, but I have a few bongs that people use regularly
I usually just fill a big bowl with alcohol and let them soak in there, it gets rid of the resin pretty quickly....my friends don't like that I do that though, they always tell me to invite them over and they will hand clean each bong for me...hahaComment
