We here at ANYwebcam.com have always known we are part of something special, working within an exciting medium, alongside a group of great people, in a relaxed creative environment. All of us manage to juggle work with play and all of us seem to be leading well balanced lives - I guess we have always put this down to just being "good folk" but apparently there is more to it, apparently we are COOL!
On the 7th August 2006 ANYwebcam.com was recognized as being somewhere in the top 20 Cool Companies in Australia (exact position was not released), ok... I am pretty sure we were not chosen because we have "awesome" server load balancing skills, or because of our "gnarly" knowledge of file compression techniques, maybe it has something to do with our "rad" urban office space... so what is their so called definition of cool?

It seems we have been acknowledged for our success by way of understanding our marketplace, being able to accept our mistakes and praise our accomplishments, something that we have always held as a high priority. Never do we at ANYwebcam.com place ourselves at guru level nor are we too headstrong not to act on constructive criticisim. Recognition from the business world at any level gives you a sense of pride, and it is great to see that all the hard work and creative thinking that our team provides day in and day out is getting people talking. Here at ANYwebcam.com we have the luxury of still being considered a small business (in relation to the number of Staff, 20) so we are currently able to get away with peer level management allowing all team members to have a voice. With continued success and growth planned for the future we look forward to holding on tight, sticking to the business plan, taking advice, and remaining flexible enough to overcome any obstacles we encounter.
ANYwebcam.com is the worlds largest webcam chat community with 3million active members and has been in business for over 6 years with the team being together for 10 years. ANYwebcam.com recognized the potential of using webcams to communicate in a social networking environment early on and has been able to develop proprietary technology that is leading the industry. ANYwebcam.com webcam technology has been developed to promote many-to-many interaction allowing a single user to watch up to 15 live webcams at once and broadcast a live stream to over 15,000 viewers, this model has been made possible by a proprietary hub and spoke structure where all activity passes through our servers prior to delivery. Most competitors in the webcam space (including MSN messenger and Yahoo) are a peer to peer solution where data is exchanged directly from user to user, this limits the number of concurrent viewers and interaction needs to be arranged by a minimum of two users that are already in communication.
