How much traffic did he send?

I've accidentally done that with my shitty trickle of traffic through a couple of sponsors - out of 32 hits over a pay period, get a random join.

However, good for that dude and the site. He's probably giddy he got a sale.

That's awesome.

Personally, I've seen with a couple of sponsors and traffic I don't try and get, I can convert pretty well -- we're talking around <100 hits / pay period or so to each converting sponsor. Then again, with the same traffic, on the same site, over a few years, I haven't converted 1 sale on some other sponsors. Go figure.

Yes. You read that right. Under < 100 hits to a sponsor per pay period. That's how fucking savage my traffic numbers are. Fear me!

Man, I send next to nothing all over the place. One sponsor sees 40 hits a month but gets 2 sales a month, ccbill sponsors maybe 5k these days but I convert better than 1:500
It all adds up.

As for the numbers, if your traffic is high quality who says you can't sell a $30 membership every 4 clicks? It's all about how filtered the traffic is.
