    The last fucking windows update

    Not only reboot my computer automaticly when I had some work unsaved, but changed my language options.

    Incredible... when I tried to type my password it wasn't on a qwerty keyboard. I realised that when I logged in safe mode and it was french from france language. Wich I never installed but is the original windows language.

    That just fucking sucks.

      Looks like I'm not the only one that had problems with these new XP updates. Totally different problem than me, still sucks total ass. Made me unable to copy files from hard drive to hard drive until I rolled back to a previous XP state.

                  yeah i have this box popping up every 5 mins for me to restart and install the new updates, its not telling me what they are

                                          Hm, I had XP Home and XP Pro machines both get the updates this morning. Then I had to click to Turn Off each computer which installed the update. Both machines came back on (seemingly) just fine.

                                          I have mine set to notify me when a new update is available, but not to auto-download/install them.

                                          Hope nothing screws up..

                                                              worked fine on my end
                                                              did the custom updates and then reboote
                                                              everything went well last night before hitting the sack

                                                              and seemed ok before I left for the office this morning
