Let me tell you something about Rocketflow
Heres the story.
I mail them because my domains hosted with them show a fucking apache test page. I tell them what is up and what happened to my domains.
I get this: "You need to create a default page in your domain, otherwise the Apache test page displays automatically. The default page must be named index.htm, index.html, or index.php."
At this point I thought it was still funny. I mean, I am hosting those sites for over a year there and have not touched the sites once, fair enough.
So I mail them letting them know the sites were "running perfectly fine until you messed on the machine" What they did was (i assume) pull an old backup or something. Result was: all my php files on those domains - GONE.
THats what I mail them and get this:
"
We did not pull any backup for sure. Maybe, as you say, somebody got access to your FTP account. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it's really not due to anything we have done.
Sorry again."
I was like.. WTF
I wrote back that the files were obviously modified on july 31st.
Being a bit confused about this "access to your ftp" thing I write them:
"I also want you to go through the logs and check if (at all) someone
accessed the ftp prior to today in the last couple of days / weeks."
I get:
"Our FTP logs are recycled every day. We checked and nobody accessed your domain today. But the problem might have occured yesterday or before. If that was the case, we have no way to verify this anymore."
This was my reply:
"you recycle ftp logs daily? What a retarded thing is that? so if
someone from the outside accessed the ftp you got no freaking data?
are you kidding me?"
I somehow did not hear back form them afterwards
I just feel like sharing... Am I wrong thinking they are idiots?
