Epassporte won't let you send money to a Russian account holder?!

    Epassporte won't let you send money to a Russian account holder?!

    And from what I'm told by the customer service guy, there's no way to lift that ban for specific transaction where the sender, me, agrees to take the risk...

    So why are Russian even allowed to have an account? They can only send money? Or can they?

                                  yeah i had the same problem only it was an account i had sent money to several times already. when they updated their address info i was no longer allowed to send them money. even though i had sent to that account maybe 6 times previously.

                                                  Accounts from Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, Latvia, Pakistan, Vietnam and Malaysia can not send and receive p2p transfers.
                                                  Accounts from these countries can receive payments from business accounts, use the virtual visa and the electron card.

                                                  It has nothing to do with ePassporte deciding who you can send money to but to protect everyone from fraud since we have had a high amount of fraud from these countries.

                                                              why not go on a case by case basis? If I agree to take the risk, why cant you allow the transaction to happen?
