Nice way to spend the Saturday afternoon, cruising the channel. Until the Coast Guard showed up to crash the party! Here's just a few pics:

If it's been posted already, these guys came out of nowhere and at first, looked like they were about to storm the boat. They eventually pulled alongside, boarded the boat and "escorted" us back to the marina.

I'm still not clear what all the fuss was about, we kept drinking, band played on and nobody was strip-searched as far as I could tell ...

Yep the cruise was a great success - as far as I'm concerned the Coast Guard just added a little spice to the whole thing.

They were cool and respectful, wanted to put the captain through the usual paperwork check I guess...

What I really appreciated is that they showed up and made us turn back where we would have anyway - so, who cares? The girls liked these hunky gun-toting kevlar boys, and we basically had a personal escort back to the dock. At least they didn't show up 20 minutes into the thing - woulda majorly sucked.

Anyhow, they had another team come on board after everyone got off the boat, my guess to check for those illegal and immoral things George Bush thinks adult industry people must do in between working hard and roasting kids for lunch :P

After they boarded and nothing really happened, I thought it might have something to do with the "porn" banners on the side of the boat.

As we were cruising, anybody and everybody on shore was staring at the boat ... of course, it's huge but it looked like some were writing down URLs
