What is someone scammed almost everyone on GFY.

Question :

"If the scammer shows up at a webmaster convention, is he completely stupid or brave?".

The obvious answer is that he's a complete idiot.

Then why are some people are defending Lawrence Connor's presence at the last show? He's not a scammer, but a complete psycho stalker. It's amazing how people forget...

No wonder why politicians and scammers can be so successful. People have a short term memory on everything.

The guys said some pretty inflamatory shit about me in the past....for no reason. I saw him at the show...but after looking him in the eyes, i decided to say/do nothing...simply because he was clearly mentally handicapped....or at the very least had serious mental problems.

True, although I think the guy would deserve a 2nd chance I know he got several in the past and thus shouldnt get any more. And yes, he is indeed herassing ppl, YnotBot among others, in such a manner its a matter for the police. With this in hindsight, not letting him in/kicking him out is probably the best.

I completely agree, I can't believe we have people like JFK and lightspeed praising LC for showing up at the show. They seem to just label him as a fun loving guy with poor social skills and make it out like he's the victim cause he's getting picked on. I think LC had probably thought some of the shit he pulled a couple years ago had blown over and could now make an appearance at a show and hope nobobdy he stalked in the past would be there also.

I agree, its just plain stupid of him to show his face publically after all the stunts he's pulled and havoc he's created on people's personal lives. Its obvious he's an alcholic in need of some serious psychiatric help.

One of the sponsors under the same umbrella as the operator of this board is used by content thieves to make money. Ditto some of the other well-known sponsors, advertisers and posters. But we are still here and most are probably doing business with at least one of the sponsors in question. So in the grand scheme of things, what does it matter if someone like LC turns up at a show?

I saw tons of scammers at the show shaking hands and thinking they were legit.

It's funny as hell, but on the other hand it's quite depressing because some scammers end up making it big.

It really makes you hate the player and his game.
