Its normal IMHO.. and much more comfortable, cleaner.. Most normal people do that at "home" toilets as its safe and confortable and who gives a fuck if you are at home really...
Jesus I would feel shame if some waterfall would be heard from the toilet when being on a visit in my friends or family... just imagine..
I had a friend in our flat working on my computer some time ago and he went to take a pee.. me and my mom heard him from 2 different rooms  hahahaha |
This is true, I do get stage fright from time to time if I know someone can hear, so it makes sense that I prefer sitting since you can't hear it as much..interesting.
