Every time I am at home or at any other toilet, except the public ones or nature (prefered)
Its normal IMHO.. and much more comfortable, cleaner.. Most normal people do that at "home" toilets as its safe and confortable and who gives a fuck if you are at home really...
Jesus I would feel shame if some waterfall would be heard from the toilet when being on a visit in my friends or family... just imagine..
I had a friend in our flat working on my computer some time ago and he went to take a pee.. me and my mom heard him from 2 different rooms
