After having a great time with a great bunch of people, I find out someone has totally fucked up my truck while I was staying at the hotel. And not only that, but I was parked on the first floor of the parking garage, about 5 cars in. In pain view of just about anyone that used the elevator.
So I call up the Diplomat, and speak to their security office. Their advice, ?call Hollywood Police?. I?m like, is that all you can do for me? ?Yes?. Well thanks very fucking much, I say and hang up the phone. I mean, they weren?t even like ohh man, I?m sorry to hear about that. I ask, does this happen often, ?yes we get all kinds of crimes and accidents in the garage.?
I?ve only had my truck since March and I swear if I could find these fuckers I?d fucking break some skulls. And this is not the first incident there. Last year, Dave from webmastervault.com had his ipod stolen out of his car by valet. Must be a bunch of fucking thieves waiting for us to show up.
I got insurance on the case, but it?s not going to be good. I?m sure my rates are going up now. And I have a $500 dollar deducible. And to be honest, I wouldn?t be half as mad it they just stole the lights, but they broke the grill, deeply scratched the paint. You can see where they pried on the body to get the lights out. Cut or ripped all the wiring harnesses. Basically just destroyed anything that was around the headlight assemblies.
