coming by clean e-mail lists, good software, setting up stmp relays and beating spam filters is a piece of cake... dont worry about the 1000's of complaints per day to your ISP, the hordes of anti spammers, canned spam law, state laws and organizations like spamhaus etc... or 1:250,000 conversions.... also, your ISP will appreciate your enthusiasm and be nothing but supportive. they wont mind their IP's being blacklisted either. you are on to something my friend... be persistent and you will be mailing 10-20million a day. it will be just like 1998 again.

No, I don't spam......Just like everyone else I know it pisses me off to get my inbox flooded with junk. But there is stuff I do subscribe to, and I recieve emails from them and their partners. I have no problem with that because I opted in.

You have some points re: servers, etc. Of course there are solid bulletproof setups, and ways to overcome anything, but it takes alot of time, cashflow and money to overcome some of these. For most people though I wouldn't recommend getting into mail, unless you have a bit of money and patience.
