I'm not old as it is, but I have noticed that in the past 5 maybe 10 years, a whole lot of shit has changed. and not for the better. kids aren't even kids anymore, even at age 5. its fucking sad. if I do have kids, maybe I'll move to an Amish settlement. teach them what respect and what hard work mean. not that I should be one to talk about that, but at least I appreciate things. kids these days don't. not at all. just like adults. and all these new drugs... Prozac and others of that nature... they are for made up 'diseases' called depression and anxiety. it's just life. people have gone through it all since the beginning. I think it would be safe to say that we are one of the only countries who have as many people on drugs as we do, and it's OK

I am not trying to talk shit about anyone, or anything like that. I just watch a lot of TV, listen to a lot of talk radio, and hear a lot of people moan and complain. I go to the mall, and see the looks on peoples faces. nothing makes anyone happy anymore. not unless its bigger and better than what they already have. no more outings with the family on the weekends... bike rides and shit. I may be living in a fantasy world, but I like it there. and I also know that things will never ever be like that again. we are following a downward spiral.

the rant I just wrote, was nothing more than that. a rant. I have no intentions of offending anyone, those are just my opinions. I didn't think I would take it that fat, but I have a lot of opinions, and really no one to share them with. so I share them with whomever reads them.

If you don't want your kids to see porn -- then they should not be on the internet without supervision. Simple. Don't let them watch TV. Don't let them listen to the radio. First of all ... as a father of an 8 year old daughter, and a 6 year old son ... I have problems with an 11 year old even having an ICQ account ...

My kids' computer does not have internet ... they can use their CD ROMs on it, or use the encyclopedia for homework ...

If they want to go to ALFY.COM or FOXKIDS.COM ... they must ask us, and it is only when we are available to supervise them ...

I would not even consider allowing either of my children to have an ICQ or an email account of their own until they are at least 14 ... or maybe even 16 if I can hold them off that long, only because I know what a sick and perverted place cyberspace can be.

And I have also discussed this with my kids, and they are quite comfortable with having these restrictions placed upon them for their own good.

Responsible youths are the product of responsible parenting.

I agree, kids should not be on the net without adult supervision but the fact that porn links are available to throw around by irresponsible idiots just fuels the fire of those who don't see it that way. These people will get the last word for sure.
Some people think the net is there just to sell porn and eveything else should take second place.

There are about 20,000 filter programs available to keep kids from seeing porn. If you are worried about your kids seeing some, I suggest you shell out the $50 or whatever and invest in one of these programs.

Every word on that page would practically block the page from coming up.

Not to mention you could block them to only see .com/.edu sites as well.
