I was looking for a bit more to be pissed at.
Its a gallery, not a site.
And its of a model and of pics that is no doubt saturated more than a cube of butter.

What can you do? I used to use a sponser on all my galleries that not a lot of other people were using. I made a sweet table ad that drew hits and signups like mad. After about 6 months of submitting galleries with this table I noticed that half the tgp's I was submitting to now suddenly had an exact replica of this table for that sponser on thier site. Hell, you would have at least thought they could have signued up under me. So I stopped and moved on. No use bitching about it. I guess I could have posted something or written them all a strongly worded email telling them to not copy my links but what would that do for me? Also, I agree with bone, yours is a pretty standard gallery table. Make a page with a unique layout and then bitch when they copy it.

First of all. Thousands of gallery layouts are about the same. Kinda stupid to say that I'm "stealing" your layout.
Second of all it would have been normal (or at least decent as in 'the-right-thing-2-do" to FIRST contact me instead of posting a topic like this on a messageboard.
Damn.. when you where in kindergarten and a classmate also draw a pic of a horse did you start complaining to your teacher because he 'stole' the idea of drawing a horse!?
Second of all. The ARS link threath is even more out of proportion. It's a small link and it's obvious that it's another website and not Tawnee's.
If the ARS link was huge or more then present on the gallery it would have been a different storie. Look at the font color I used.. it's even hard to read because of this ;-)
But as supposed to be done I talked about this link with Steve from Lightspeed and I'll change it to one of the other Lightspeed websites asap.
For me this case is closed.. and as we say on this board...
please.. go fuck yourself

Sloane, man you need to get a different job... If you can first provide a copyright that you own that design, and then show exact similarities you may have a case. But that can't be done. Nobody can own the right to a table dimension or a color scheme or basically any type of simple page layout. Also who's to say you aren't the copier. Also the similarities aren't even really close like Boneprone said...

Joefoxxx, you blatently stole his layout, its the exact SAME layout, exact same placement of text... Its not just the same general thing... if it were a 15 pic gallery with similiar text placement... thats one thing, you stole the whole thing. =)

concerning the 1st gallery i can post links of my gallery with similar pictures, Equinox's gallery and Bake's gallery and you're gonna find many commnon things? Why is that? Because all three of us tried to have a gallery close to the tour. If i check the daily submissions i get i'll grab 10 more layouts like this. Concerning the text, this is another story.
