Most people I have seen nominated on here are not even webmasters. "Webmasters" code html and build / update websites. When you think the last time 12Clicks or Lensman BUILT a website? They dont, others do it for them.

If it was "Web-Smut Business Man of the Year"... then yes, appropriate nominations. Quit kissing ass newbs, its sickening.

My nomimantion goes to a Russian kid I met recently who turned a massive AVS site conglomeration into 40k a month in no time flat.

So many good webmasters out there that do not post on boards or make themselves known, actually busting their asses 18 hours a day. THAT is a webmaster.

This thread should read, "Webmaster of the Year for GFY".

Webmasters entering the contest must be over 18 years of age at the time of application into the contest and not involved with websites related to, but not limiting to, Child Pornography and Hate Sites.

i'll agree with Labret

my vote goes to Ldinternet and i'm going to propose him tonight. He's the most hard working webmaster I have met. He has marketing skills, he enjoys what he does and although he's british he has great sense of humour.

If the contest was about business strategies from people directing webmasters and not building sites my vote would go to one of the following: Fantasyman, Lensman, MarcDe
All three have been around for long, they actually created the industry and play an important role.
