Order it from Czechoslovakia. The brand doesn't really matter, they all taste like lighter fluid strained through rusty copper. Expect to pay more for shipping than the bottle.

I have some 80% stuff on the optics in my bar downstairs its been there ages... no-one drinks it!
about the wormwood I think most stuff doesn't have it in or enough... I heard you need to take a lot of wormwood over a long time to hallucinate off it..
decent absinthe is just insane strong alchohol I think get whatever stuff is 60%+ , you won't trip out but you will be so fuckfaced you might as well be!Comment

I tastes like licorice since it contains anisette and fennel. It almost tastes like the French Pastis or Pernod, means, you gotta be french to really love it. The bad reputation stems from adding antimoniutrimchloride, cheap alcohol, and artificial coloring in the early 19. century, which isn't done today anymore. It's safe to drink but overrrated, it doesn't get you high. however, absinth hangovers are not very pleasant, believe me...
