I love my Aussie sports but at the moment I cant stand Cricket.
I hate the Australian Cricket Team.

But come on, these guys play a sport that requires less effort than lawn bowls. Most of them have the education of your average council worker, and when standing in slips, they get paid to do even less than one.

Less effort than lawn bowls? I really would debate that. You obviously have no idea how much hard work and training they put in. The majority of them are quite intelligent....not that that is even a factor in how good they are at playing cricket.Originally posted by kad

I've never, ever seen footage of a cricket team doing more than net practise or playing touch footy. I might be wrong, but these guys dont do weights or even run any great distance (execpt Brett Lee maybe, I saw him running on a treadmill for a Gatorade ad once). Im willing to bet that my Grandfather could beat Darren Lehman over 2km, and to make it fair, I'll tell Grandpa he cant use his electronic wheelchair.Originally posted by Living For Today

on a positive note however we just scored 2 - 359 one of the highest totals ever in history and the highest one day score we have ever achieved against india.
