What the HELL ever happened to...

A real contest with soda/fast food/snack companies? Every time I open a soda and look under the cap, there's a code to check and see if I won. I went to Mcdonald's the other day and pulled the little pirates of the carribean tab off of my drink cup and it was the same damn thing. Can't they just give something away without having to log onto a website that's only going to tell me "sorry, try again".

Those contests became gay, like even if you won a small bs fry from mcdonalds, you now got like a week to use it... quite a joke, and how they make you order shit like a big mac or a large coke only has it, should be illegal.. they disclaim it by saying free, but you have to mail in a stamp
for a ticket, before you could just walk in the store and say gimme a ticket
and they'd have to give you one.. and with the scam of monopoly, you know you aint gonna win shit anyhow.. just think all the promotions in the world.
do you know anyone who ever won anything from those places? I knew of one guy that one a car from mcdonalds, they came out and said the ticket
was phoney... lol

and btw who the fuck needs a free ring tone, what a lame scam to get web traffic lol

Most of them are just information collecting schemes. I tried one recently, they wanted my full name, postal address and email address before I could check the code. No thanks, I get enough spam as is.

Speaking of contests, does anybody know who won Breakfast with Fox & Friends? They claimed that their, and I quote, ?super-computer? was sorting through the details of people who entered and would give a result ?in a few weeks?. It?s been a few months, I never heard who won lol.

It's fiarly easy that they do that because 95 % of the people don't do the contests anymore.

Who will grab the coupon back home and log on their computer ?

They probably get stuck with most of the prizes.

What I hate are all these "points". You can collect them everywhere. No matter where you go. In some gas station in the middle of notwhere, all you want to do is buy a coke, you get some moron asking: "Do you collect the points?"
