    Hard Candy

    I just saw Hard Candy, which was advertised (in the Netherlands) as a movie somewhat like Lolita. I don't know about you, but I find castration is no laughing matter. Not at all. I feel someone should have warned me and although the movie is probably no longer in cinemas in the US, I'll take this opportunity to warn whoever is thinking of seeing this movie: be ready.

    And what's up with the 'lensman319' ?

                          It was a really shitty movie and completley unrealistic.

                          SPOILER:
                          During one scene, the small non-muscular girl somehow managed to hoist up a full grown adult male up to the ceiling in an attempt to get him to kill himself. Within the time period allowed, she could have gotten the equipment necessary to hoist him up, and she herself could not do it because she's essentially a midget standing next to Andre the Giant.

                          God damn Hard Candy made me want to gouge my eyes out and pour turpentine in my bloody sockets.
