Could you possibly give a little more detail on "galleries" and how they are usually ran? Sorry if this is a question that comes up quite a bit.

I've only been here about 5 days, and just started a TGP,... so maybe I can help you out with stuff I've learned so far. (I'm a newbie like you.)

There's two main ways to make money in the adult industry as far as I can tell. (And keep in mind I've been at this for like 5 days, so there's probably alot of ignorance here.)

#1: Produce your own Adult context.

I got some info... but not tons. (I have a feeling that most of the people here are NOT producing their own Adult content.)

Right now I'm in the process of trying to get girls for the Adult content I'm producing.


#2: Start a TGP, or Adult Blog , etc.

I started thosebabes.com. (It's a TGP.)

Typically when you do this, you try and sell other people's stuff. And you make money whenever someone signs up for one of those sites you are promoting.

If you are from the advertising world at all... this is CPA advertising -- "cost per action" adversting. (Also known as "affiliates".)



Also... some notes. It seems ALOT of people on these boards are just here to get you to click the links in their signatures. (And then buy whatever that ad in their signature was for. They make money off of it.)

They seem to reply to almost every thread with things like "good luck", or "nice one", or something like that without adding anything to the thread. I can only guess they just wan more exposure for the ads in their signature.

I guess that would make the #3 way of making money in the adult industry. (I'm pursuing #1 and #2 though.)

Now, that's not to say there's anything wrong with selling stuff in your signature... it's just that IMO... reading through the posts here... there seems to be way too many of these "good luck", "nice one", etc posts. Too much "noise" to "signal".

(But maybe I'm stepping on too many people's toes by pointing that out. Hopefully not.)

I guess I'm rambling though....



So.... you can either produce your own content... or started your own TGP, Adult blog, or whatever, and sell other people's content.

I thank everyone for your replies, all this information is great help. I believe I am leaning towards a gallery/TGP, it seems to be the best for any sort of revenue and sounds quite interesting.
