Why doesn't anyone in the Middle East respect Jesus?

So, this guy was born six miles south of Jerusalem.

...and no one in the area worships him? The Jews don't. The Muslims don't. Hell, they even have offshoots of religions like the Shiites that pick people that had nothing to do with anything to worship instead of Jesus.

Do they know something that Christians don't? It seems they would since if anyone knew him they would being from the same neck of the woods and all.

Why is this?

Well the Muslims highly respect and the dude and they consider him to be an awesome prophet, one of the greatest of the messengers that God sent to humanity, but like the Jew?s they don?t think of him as the son of God. They do believe he was ?born? of God?s hands, but not of a woman or man but instead like Adam was (spoke into existence). Jesus is right up there with Mohammed to Muslims. As for the Jews? they killed Jesus.

In recent years there has been some evidence brought to light to strongly suggest that J.C was nothing more than a very clever charlatan. In fact I would also go as far as to say that the most commonly accepted historical account of his life, ( the Holy Bible ), is nothing more than a peice of highly cynical propagander.

All things considered there's little wonder there's so much anti Jesus/Christian feeling in some parts of the world.

I read somewhere that the 'real' reason why the Jews condamned Jesus (or at least one of the reasons) was because he commited the 'holy crime' by getting into a temple and writting down the name of God (which contained not less then 250 letters or something)on a piece of paper and cut opened his inner thigh and slipped the paper inside the wound. When he got out of the temple he read the unmentionable name and then was blessed with the power of accomplishing 'miracles' which for the Jews meant dealing with a power that didnt belong to human beings. That was part of the mystical part of Juddaism. Anyway I dont know if that is correct but I found this pretty interesting.

Eventually the Vatican could stand the Templars antics and attitude no longer and on one fatefull knight on Friday the 13th*, ( sometime in the 13th century - exact year escapes me ), they embarked on a huge campaign of torture and murder against the Templars and their allies. However the Templars were resourcefull and many of them escaped the wrath of the Vatican army and dispersed and hid themselves around Europe , ( alledgedly taking a shit load of esorteric knowlege and artifacts with them ).

Some say the Templars eventually turned into the organisation known the world over today as the Freemasons, ( many of America's founding fathers were alledged Freemasons.......the masonic symbol of the Pyramid with the "all seeing eye" even pops up on the back of a dollar bill does'nt it )

Anywho back to J.C, and why the Jews don't seem to have much time for him - Although there are many theories as to why, my opinion is that they knew him for what he really was - a decendant of a once powerfull royal dynasty who was acting out the Old Testament prophesy of "the coming of the messia" to reestablish his families rulership of the Jewish Nation. If true then this of course could help explain why the Roman Catholic Church has allways had such a downer on Jews.
