    so google did have a linkback update a while ago right?

    why dont i see anything of it then, other then my sites all sank like bricks? When i check the linkbacks indexed by google its still the exact sites (& amount) of 6 months ago for all my sites.
    But ive build a shitload of linkbacks in these 6 months, so I'd figure with a linkback update at least SOME get indexed? I dont understand this shit.

              Why look at google for that info - they stopped showing most linkbacks two years ago - they just show a representative sample now - if you want to see a closer approx. of your linkbacks use Yahoo

                                          do some (practical) research on your own sites and you know. Anyway thats not the point of this thread. But hey we all know SEO guys got different views of things so just stick to your own and i'll be fine either way......lol.

                                              That's THE bible for when google updates things... Note what is said about the backlinks google displays.

                                              BL Export: Backlink Export - export of a sample of the number of backlinks which is almost meaningless as it is only a sample number. This number can be seen with the link:www.domain.tld command (no longer called a BL update as backlinks are updated continously and the visible BL number change is an export of that updated value).

                                              Guess you've got an edge on those experts.

                                                                      No, the linkbacks google show are those they deem might be useful for someone viewing the linkbacks.

                                                                      They take the most interesting linkbacks, certainly not all.
                                                                      All data is used in the search ranking calculations.

                                                                          google is updating linkbacks all the time, on daily basis... and all that matters are similar theme linkbacks.

                                                                          use yahoo's: linkdomain:www.domain.com for this.
