new blog site, looking for opinions

Hi,
I'm completely new to the business.

I started my first blog at freeeasyteens.com .
(can't post the URL cause I'm new, so see the sig).

It's been up about a week and I'm getting about 500 uniques a day.

Can you suggest anything to up sales/traffic?

ANY advice at all is welcome, as long as it's constructive.

Take the "from our sponsor" out of the headline. I doubt that your surfers care for that.

Use something short and catchy like "Watch this free movie" for example. Focus on the benefit for the surfer.

I'm also not sure if these blinking ads for the 1$ programs and the sponsors left and right are the best use for that space. Have you tested them? Do they get click-throughs?

I'd say you could do better with something else. People have developed the ability to not look at flashy banners or to look there and just switch back and ignore it.

Looks good at first sight.. but your "advertising-header" sucks donkey balls. The comicgirl face reminds me on www.suicidegirls.com i think...
Your blog isnt different from the 10.000.000.000 others out there. Think about your blog yourself. What do you got to offer that others dont have? Why should someone come back to your site and not switch to another. And above all, your site doesnt have an unique look. No one will remember your site after he browsed some sites course it just looks like the most teen blogs out there.

Your cropped thumbs look pretty bad. Are they being resized with the image tag? If so, avoid that. Otherwise find another cropper/image resizer because the one you're using is messing up.

I think the girl is a rip of the rookiebabe logo.

Your site is called Free Easy Teens but your giant gross ad space says " Free Easy Porn" and I agree you should work on your sales text. Get rid of the sponsor references.

Also consider making some of your sales text into links to the sponsor when you have a good juicy word to highlight.

The design is nice but it is a theme from Xlaborz so you're bound to see it elsewhere - no worries.

Things I would work on would be to add the Optimal Title plugin for WP so that your post title goes before the site title - Free easy teens.

Also, Im not sure about your posting theme but I would name the categories more creatively so that you pick up some extra traffic. At the very least, you could post Raven Riley to the Raven Riley category.

Two hints here:

1) Check out my blog JizzMaker.com (I'm new here too, so use link in my signature to get there) and maybe we can exchange links or even gallery plugs ...

2) submit to my toplist FreeTopSite.com (again, link is in my signature :-) you can easily get 10 hits a day for a single one, aslong as you send me at least 1 hit / week ... and hey, thats up to 2% increase for your site, so definitely give it a try ... (you can check out and you will find many other blogs in that toplist ;-)

I made some of the changes you guys suggested. I'm going to be adding new graphics for the banner and looking into the Optimal title plug in this weekend.

I've gotta get that Movie script looking better... it looks like ass now.

If anyone cares I have my traffic up to about 1k a day, which isn't GREAT but it's double what I was getting. Any more suggestions are welcome.
