That's your body, your lifestyle, your choice. I've never condemned that and would never say "it's stupid to get a tatoo". If you're sure that you'll be happy with the pic over your back - that's just great. (irrelevant to 99% of grils lol)

That's not my cup of tea though.
Still prefer to get a nice outfit instead

Had a backpiece done myself about 15yrs ago now and never have regretted it. Easily coverable.

Some of it hurt like fuck. Other bits I literally read a book during it, but overall was painfull as the whole thing was done over a 5 week period so he was tattoing on 'unhealed' stuff.

I suppose my reasons were two-fold. I wanted something 'special' that nobody could ever take away from me (it was a bad period in my life) and I also wanted to prove to myself that I could endure the pain.

I always remember having a very large B/W piece on my leg done at a convention soon after. It took a little over 5 hours. 4 hours into it when it was VERY sore (anybody who's had a 3 hours plus sessions will know the feeling - after 2-3 hours the whole area of skin gets sore to the point that after 4 hours plus, the needle just touching the skin hurts like fuck) a guy shoves a TV camera into my face and asks if it hurts. At the time I seem to remember shaking, pulling my hair and biting on a towel.

Only if you walk around topless all the time

But then for every chick who is interested 2 will run a mile if they see it. But then if you're getting something like that done just to get the opposite sex interested you'll probably have serious issue a few years down the line.

Nah, I think I was blessed to have met Rob Couts from Toronto who is doin my back.

I really enjoy seeing other art work but I really like what I have... All except 1 that i am getting a cover up done on bye a new artist.

J .. how did the ear feel? on a 1-10 .. I have work up in the armpit and even inside my lip but I have a feeling that would be pretty bad.

Actually not that bad. I think the worst for me was palm of the hand then sternum (got a chest piece started 2 weeks ago)

It was noisy as fuck and I heard a ringing for a lill while after that ;-)

Is name is Rob Couts, he's in Toronto and runs a private studio. You can check out some of his work at www.bobbyfive.com. Rob as been tattooing for 9 years and studied art in college. He's also a good friend (guess you become good friends after all this 1 on 1 time in the studio and many Guinesse after the tattoo sessions.
