                I don't think people are really realizing the importance of the design rip, it wasn't that it was a great design or layout to start with...BUT

                someone wanted to start a ppc campaign and basically went to someone elses ppc result and copied it...whether it was a great design or not, that is a fucking asshole thing to do

                            they definitely copied your idea, and it wouldn't be that much of a deal if it weren't being advertised using the same method. May be if you complain to Google they will do something about it, although I doubt it.

                                The problem is that there is nothing he can do in terms of law. Unless the other person steal images, text or real pixels, then there is nothing to do. You have not a case. And if the person ever steal images or text, you will finish wasting more in lawyers than what you get for winning the case. You can't legally sue him in this case.

                                You can only "maybe" hurt his reputation by posting a drama on GFY. But, again, a lot of people will not agree that this is a rip off, since he has not steal anything, just put the images and text in a similar position.

                                    oh, i agree with that 100%...there is nothing you can really do about it, it sucks but all you can do is bid higher to get above him and move on

                                            Anyone who believes it to be coincidence after taking the color scheme, PPC campaign, & general layout into consideration must be blind.

                                            There's nothing wrong with taking a few pointers from what's proven as effective, but a lack of originality as blatant as that just shouldn't be allowed.
