    Is that for real???

    just got email from thumbzilla, but can't get one thing in their 'rules'

    5) One of your banners must be a Thumbzilla sponsor's (advertiser) banner
    with its corresponding text beneath it. We are not talking about the
    Thumbzilla reciprocal button...that is covered in rule #14. The Thumbzilla
    sponsor (advertiser) banner must be placed in a good spot on the page,
    either immediately above your thumbs or immediately below them. Bury the
    banner, and of course we will bury your gallery ;-) You will find those
    banners here.

    I was always more than happy with the quality of Zilla's traffic and preferred submissions thingy is pretty good too.
    But putting a banner with their ref code on the gallery with my content, my design, on my server... That seems to much for me

    Maybe i'm wrong in understanding this point? I hope i'm

    btw i've emailed Nelvac about this of course, here i'm just asking ur opinion.

          I'm sure that'll go REAL WELL with certain sponsors..
          Let's say I am using free ars content to promote ARS site & I place zilla's banner to lightspeed site..Now ARS is gonna ban me from their webmaster program...
          I'll stay away from that type of tgp..
          I can get traffic that'll be more productive from the SE's & link lists

                  Use the regular submit and you won't need to place a sponsor banner.

                      Hmmmm I was approved as a preferred submitter and then after a week or so of submitting I was cut off. They didn't even give me a reason why? And when I e-mailed Nelvac to find out why my preferred submitter status was declined he never responded?

                      Weird? Oh well my galleries are good and others will list them so that is their loss.

                          well, it's not a big deal for me to have a gallery with their ad for their traffic.
                          but i will need time to make a special version with that banner and i don't like the idea that i have to host it.

                          other from that - i can understand. TGP can barely make any money from semi-targeted traffic that goes to galleries.
                          move is pretty good, but from gallery builders it's on the edge.

                                  just submitted the gallery... it was listed in no time. seems that this thing will just take some time from me, but other than that seems to be ok....

                                          You guys are nuts if you are actually gonna put someone else's sponsor banner on YOUR gallery and YOUR bandwidth just to get a listing. What the fucking point of geting it listed if you're putting money in someone else's pockets? Why not just send him the money and save the both of you the trouble of making the gallery, reviewing the gallery, listing the gallery, and burning the bandwidth? Just send him the fucking money and get it over with.

                                          Fuck THAT.

                                                  I have to agree with Amp on this one. Not for Zilla's traffic.. Noooo thanks... Any TGP that blind links the surfer in the first few gallery links is not worth your time to go out of your way to get listed.. Trust me...
                                                  SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
