So what happened to these new internet restrictions in Australia?

Are adult sites banned on provider-level?
What are australian adult webmasters doing if this happened?

Internode, a large national ISP, are testing it in Tasmania AFAIK. It's not yet mandatory.

I can't see it passing the senate but stranger things have happened. The greens have already said they won't support it & I can't see the libs either, which doesn't give enough votes to communist 747 Krudd.

Does anyone know how they will judge sites to be filtered out?

I have so far heard of a few things like, pro-anorexia and euthanasia sites will be blocked
            but what else?

There is also meant to be a non mandatory porn filter which will be able to be opted out of
of course if you opt out you will go into a list that they can then monitor lol.

Some more sites I can think of off the top of my head, that MAY be blocked...

              - CP
              - pro-terrorism sites
              - anti-govt sites, including conspiracy
              - shock value sites such as rotten.com
              - web boards with a large portion of "suspicious participants" such as 4chan
