Hezbollah is honestly the most organised and lethal Aab force in the ME. Israel won't be able to wipe them out, in fact Israel won't even be able to damage their military infrastructure in any significant way. Israel already knows they can't achieve what they'd like to this time around, and they will resort to doing as much collectve damage across the entire country as possible, and as much damage to entire southern suburbs as possible through bombings and than ask for international help. I've been to Southern Lebanon, in fact I have met some of their fighters and ex-fighters, although they don't openly parade them for the most part. A friend of mine (whose cousin was in fact the leader in the Amal division of Hezbollah before being kidnapped by Israel in 1994 [I am sure you can Google to work out who this is]) invited me over there and as usual they are quite friendly to tourists and visitors as they want and need tourist money (glad I am not there now though). The amount of support they have there though is unbelievable and from what I have read, and learnt they are well equipped, very highly motivated and quite well structured. I simply don't believe that Israel has a chance in hell of destroying them, it is not as if they stand around throwing rocks at tanks, and I think you'll see that in the coming months.
