Eat a dick. I'm not "dancing on another designers failure" at all. I hate to see people getting fucked by missing designers as it gives ALL of us a bad name. I'm bumping to try and help out but thanks for assuming that's my motive Captain Shithead.
Something being wrong or not, the fact remains that his client(s) is/are left 100% in the dark. An email to all your existing clients takes 5 minutes and by owning a service related business it's your JOB to let your customers know what's going on as their projects are waiting on you to move forward.Last edited by JD; 12-01-2008, 12:08 AM.Comment

it's something I constantly see on this board.
Fact is another designer bumping a thread like this seems like a shameless troll to pick up the scraps of another's failure.
I buy design often, and see it that way, chances are other potential clients do too.
Just give that a thought.Comment

in my experience, they burn out, especially on this board where a lot clients expect the world for $100.
Creativity is hard on the soul, and can't be forced, when it is you can see the result in the work.
What I do when I order, and get a quote for $200 (Obviously under quoted simply to get the order) is send them $450, you should see the difference in work, and how much better service you get.
Designers need to learn however, that if they were to contact the client and say something along the lines of "I'm not feeling this design today, I'm burnt out and I've struggled for hours to come up with something cool and can't. Would you mind waiting a day or two extra for my creativity to rebuild" most times clients would be understanding and they could avoid threads like this.

on the other hand. i experienced clients disappearing while on the process of the development.. then contacted me again after a few months.. that's no prob though coz i always make sure that the payment has been already settled before starting on it.

omg... yeah man I've been railed pretty hard before. From a couple well known webmasters too. 1 of which... was to the tune of almost 8K...maybe something went wrong?
