well, back then the only choice he had was - fight on the side we tell you to fight or be executed, I'm guessing 99.9999% of the GFYers would've done the same

oh, and if you think the Russians, the Americans, and the Brits did only good things during the war I guess you should start reading books again, no doubt that Hitler and Stalin killed the most, but there were more than 1 million Germans that were simply left to die after the war while in detention, also the US simply refused to take most of the Jews that wanted to go move there to avoid the concentration camps and so on and so fort

Not to mention that the second nuclear bomb was simply scientific experiment and unnecessary from military point of view
