A small group of people who are well armed, believe in a some silly cause, and are willing to die for no real reason can cause a huge amount of destruction that will reach out and slam dozens and dozens of families.
Hell. You don't even need weapons or bombs. A single peson with a zippo can go around a major city and start burning up hotels.
