i never really understood antitrust suits but this gives me a good view on it

on page 10 now or so

i think i can pretty well brief it :

kerman is sueing arin because when kerman won his judgement aginst cohen and all his assests or whatever and in that judgement he got he was awared the netblock with arin had .... arin didnt give it - kerman feels he would of gotten more traffic to his site and would of been able to host more sites if he had this netblock he should of be given ....If he had the netblocks he feels that he would of had better rankings in google lol

where i see bullshit is on page 19 - 20

1) if your having to hide your info i dont think 99% of the members that own ip blocks would want to do anything with you.

2) anyone that has gone thru the process of getting ips would know that arin does give very good guidlines of justification.

note: arin does not make it easy to obtain netblocks but in good reasoning to keep the scum at bay. if you have gone thru the process you know it's a lot of work. and from reading this thing it dosnt look like arin was asking them for anymore info then they would ask the next person.

So the deal is basically that Gary won the IP space in a court ruling....
Then ARIN said "No way, were not going to give them to you even though you now own the business and all its assets according to the court".
So Gary's suit is right on track. They are playing BS with him to try to get those IP's out of "historical" arin. Meaning they were assigned during a time
when ARIN had different rules and so are grandfathered in.
Gary has a legit case and will most likely win. And I'll tell you, if he does, it will change the face of IP space as we know it today.
