no usually it's either free, or $1 per epass, sometimes i've seen $2 also, but $5 is like trying to make a profit from us getting are should-be-free payments

Why some sponsors charge a fee and others pay you for free is beyond me.

I thought if you still want to transfer from epass to another account, you have to pay 5%.

Costs $2 to send Epassporte payment to an affilate, thats what Epassporte charge the sponsor.

We do them for Free for affilate being paid via Epassporte.

my guess would be that incidence of fraud is higher with epass than any other payment option... so I would guess the extra $3 is a premium for dealing with additional fraud...

Epassporte is also a pain to deal with as an affiliate program. I know a few companies who have to wrestle with them for 1-2 full days every pay period to keep everything working. Not condoning the extra $3 a payment, but just trying to shed some light on why they would justify a higher fee.

yea but we both use epass tho, so affiliates and sponsors both have the fraud possibilities

yea but ya know what, i am an affiliate to over 200, maybe 300 sponsor programs, and i have never seen anyone charge more than $2 for an epass

I saw one sponsor that charged $10 for ePassporte payments but don't remember which one. $4 is the most I've seen recently. Generally I pay $2 or they don't charge at all. Then again, some sponsors charge $2 for a check payment.

More than a few charge $2 per payment, and that sucks already.
