                  Naw, seriously. I have about 20 to 30 threads subscribed to at all times... most not started by me. Of course, I dont get e-mail on them... I just bookmark them so I can find them again in the event search dies.

                      that feature is fucked up for green users I think ( green users f.e can't hide that they are online too )

                      ocassionally I somehow get subscribed to a thread ( usually a big one ) but i never chose that option by myself
                      I don't use ICQ anymore.

                          then again, subscribing is pointless, the best is to search regularly GFY via the search feature for all thereads that you posted sth in

                          in that case you'll never miss an update in a thread that interests you

                              with subscriptions you can automatically get subscribed to every thread you post in, that way you end up with a nice neat list and don't have to deal with the search that doesn't work 80% of the time.
