Hey. I need some Wordpress help. I just tried to post a Page, and it locked up on me. Now I can't access the blog or the control panle, etc. Anyone know what caused this and how I can fix it? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you may have a problem with the database. Check the status on mysql. I just had one go down on DreamHost, the db server is screwed... or was.Comment

How many pings are you doing?
If you ping list is 30 sites long it takes as long as it takes to get through the list... Or you can install plugins like No Ping Wait and Smart Update Pinger... They will make sure it doesn't wait for pings and does it for you in the background.Comment
