    How have you been bro?

    Tell the gang I said hello.

    I do have some drink tickets to hand out to my friends. The sponsors get drink tickets and issue them out.

    The production costs of doing a party like this are very high. So you either need to give free drinks or free concert style shows. I'd rather provide a party that would have a "ticket" price of $100 a head, if you add up each artists normal ticket price and multiply that times 4, we have 4 full concerts in one party. Or you can provide someone $100 in drinks all night without entertainment.

    I'd rather entertain. Most people who fly out to the show have a little money, at least enough to pay for the show and room, so what's a few drinks?

    Anyway, Maybe I'll charge $300 a head and provide free drinks.

    I'll tell you this, we are looking to raise a few more dollars for sponsors drink tickets and limo's. If you're interested in having a banner in the venue and a VIP reserved table near the stage, e-mail me. I'll throw in a few mailers to sweeten the deal and a bunch of extra VIP's.

    We'll even have a reserved area for sponsors only, you'll get a nice set up in there as well.

        D$ - don't let some of the cheapasses on her get you down. You spend HUGE Dollars on entertainment, and Everyone who's anyone knows that.

        Others (and she knows who she is) could take a lesson from that, as all they do is rent a hall and pour some drinks. Everyone knows that providing free booze only runs $15-$20/head at a MAX. Yes some people drink more but as a whole for a large crowd that's the cost. (plus the hall of course) The acts you get for your shows due indeed run $100+ a head or more in cost just for entertainment alone. Many of them hold concerts at $50+ a ticket each. The Player's ball IS the standard to meet of all Internext parties.

        Personally I'm quite happy the players ball is on the last day of the show this year, in the past I've had to leave Vegas before the players ball occured. This is assuming I get in of course.....

            Once again SleazyDumb, you are proving yourself to know nothing of what you are talking about.

            If you want to bitch at me, don't bother with the she knows who she is comments either.

            If you really think that we get out for 20 bucks a head and the cost of a 'hall' as you keep referring to Rain (or The Beach, or the Tricot House, etc) then please continue deluding yourself since you seem to enjoy it.

            And if you are referring to me in your cheapasses statement I am sure that D$ can set you to right on that. We've always had a great relationship with D, no matter the circumstances, and are well aware what it costs to do a production like his -- and more than the cost, the time and energy it takes to make something on that scale run.

                                Hey, be nice to KimmyKim, she's a good person and doesn't deserve the abuse.

                                She's right. That rate doesn't applyin Vegas, they charge $5 to $7 per drink, in bulk, or $15 - $20 a head PER HOUR. Figure you have 2,000 webmasters for at least 3 hours, that would cost you @ $15 an hour for 3 hours, $90,000 plus gratuity!

                                Then you have the food, which can easily run another $40k.

                                Keep in mind, 2,000 people is only half of 1 Players Ball. The reason I throw the 2,000 number around is the largest night clubs in Vegas, like Rain etc can hold 1,000 to 1,500 people tops. 2,000 if they squeeze them in.

                                So, again, you have a choice in party schemes. Pay for entertainment or pay for drinks. That is, if you entertain like we do, it's costly.

                                Anyway, for those that don't believe me, call any venue in Vegas and ask for yourselves.

                                Can't wait to see you all at our party, I'm also looking forward to CCBill's party. They have lot's of class and I'm sure their function will showcase that.

                                    Those that abuse deserve abuse. CCbill is a great company (no arguement there), but kimmykim seems to think that if she isn't included in something then it needs to be shit on. I'm holding a small party for some TGP people and persons like kimmykim and others are soo jelous of it that every second thread here they shit on me for it. My costs PER HEAD for the TGP Evening are in the hundreds, so I have an Idea of what Vegas can due to the pocket book. My event is small though, only 70 people.
                                    Paysites have been spaming the living hell out of me to get in just so they can try and peddle their programs to the guests. Kinda makes me laugh, as these same people after trying anything and everything to get included get mad when they arn't included and wine and complane on here. They want me (a small free site guy) to pay their way, all the time telling me on GFY they make 10X what I do. They basically expect me to do their prospecting for them and pay for it out of my pocketbook. http://www.sleazydream.com/vegas/vegas.html
                                    They accuse me of charging my guests (I don't), and numerous other unmentionable crap out of shear revenge casue I don't bow down to them.

                                    at $20/head for booze I was figguring on 4 drinks per head average for an evening, bulk rate. Lots drink more, LOTS drink less. It averages out. Don't know about Vegas but that rate is pretty standard nowadays for most functions with over 1000 people around here. Even if it was higher in Vegas it wouldn't be much more than 6-8 drinks each for an evening AVERAGED out over 1000's of guests. Different places charge different rates though. I understand that, all depends on the place and the guests I suppose.

She's quite polite still, even though she's probably a bit irritated.

                                                                        I remember fighting with him about his stupid "tgp webmaster" post... and how he icqed me and told me that he was gonna blacklist me all over, etc. etc.

                                                                        Hell, the most Ive ever made in a month via porn, was about 4k... about 2k profit... but the thing is, Im happy with that, right now, Im making jack shit... but...

                                                                        I do this, because I hate being bored... Its a side job, Im a mortgage lender almost fulltime, and Im finishing up my degree.

                                                                        Even if I start making even less, it really doesnt matter. I have lots of friends in the business, and thats one reason Im still doing it.

                                                                        What do I REALLY think his problem is?

                                                                        He's afraid, that unless he brags, sucks up to the big players and acts like a total badass, that... his little site may fall apart, and he wont have anything or anyone to fall back on.

                                                                        Thing is... making yourself out to be a badass doesnt make you any bigger, and doesnt make people want to help you anymore. =)

                                                                                                                First off, I am not a customer service rep for CCBill, and I don't play one on tv. Nor am I am sales rep. I am the vice president -- not something I tend to mention to people because it really makes no difference in the scheme of things. If someone has a problem and they need help, I'll do my best to help them. I'm sure there are a few people on this board that can tell you this is true. As far as my knowledge of cookies and your comments regarding them, perhaps you should go back and re-read my comment. Reading comprehension you know?

                                                                                                                Second, I am not a programmer, I am a technical dunce.

                                                                                                                This is not a secret either, not by any means, as I'm sure many of the same people can tell you to be true. What I am able to do is ask the correct people here in my office about things, and get the answers for those tech things that people need help on.
