To anyone that hasn't been to a Players Ball yet I highly recomend making the effort to attend.

I have been to the last 2 and had a great time at both of them.

Even had a chance to hang with Aria at the last one. ( sticks tongue out at Snow)

If the entertainment was as good as June I can't wait.

Hope you have the Digital underground yet again. I never get tired of seeing them.

LOL - Can't wait to see the line up for this year's show... Hopefully filling out your early registration form will avoid such entry fiascos as I've seen in the past...!

Back in January my wife and I were in full Pimp and Ho Pajama Party Gear and bore the brunt of a rediculous 2 hour mosh-pit-riot-line... Where only about 1/2 of the people seemed to have anything to do with the convention... and nearly 90% were nowhere near dressed for either success OR the occasion.

Looking forward to a great party in Vegas...

Gona try the players ball this year, that is assuming I qualify as a guest......

I do want to say that the only thing about the pre-register that left a little bit of a sour taste in the mouth was FORCING a SPAM newsletter on us. If the letter is good we will all WANT to read it, but if it sucks we are forced to still receive it if we want to go to the players ball.

Just seemed a little odd is all, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but with 100+ garbage spams a day that I deal with I get a little testy about being forced to receive more. Only newsletter I've ever received that I felt was worth reading was Andy Dunn's. If this one is 1/4 the caliber of Andy's I'll be happy, But that's a hard act to follow.....

The mailer thing, let me explain.

I'm personally send out an e-mail, as if I'm e-mailing you directly about what I think is newsworthy and worth reading. I'm not going to bore you with spam. I want to give updates about picking up tickets, and also help give the sponsors their money's worth.

Seems like you can only get so much exposure throwing a party that lasts 1 night.

If I can "prove" exposure to our sponsors, they'll see the value in chipping in on our party.

I've been throwing these for 3 years, twice a year. I'm still learning how to do it as I go. I do feel I'm getting better at giving sponsors their exposure, that should be objective #1. Objective #2 are the webmasters attending, they must be stoked out!

So, if all goes well, both objectives will be met.

As far as dress attire, Old School!

It can be an addidas sweat suit with a Kango hat, or retro, or pimp, or come as you want.

Next June we'll have a mandatory dress code of Pimp and Ho. You can still dress that part on this one and fit right in as well.

Always pimpin'!

Anyway, I'm not a bad guy that will abuse a good thing. Let me know what you think of my letter when you receive it maybe tomorrow.

Everyone, readers and sponsers want something of INTEREST in a newsletter so the newsletter is ACTUALLY read and the readers glance by the ads.
