abuckagig - points taken As my partner ONS has said, the site will be up today. We've had way more important things going. We have been selling hosting for a while now and actually a few of our clients post here. ( maybe they'll say good stuff about us? )

You have good prices on the virtual accounts but I guess you really don't want to get dedicated accounts because $395 a month is alot for no bandwith and only 2ip's.

You'd need to run more then 25,000 gigs of bandwith to make up the difference between the first dedicated plan and the 2nd one.
25,000 gigs.

I think I did my math right.

Why not just charge based on the machine, for $350 you can get the fastest AMD with 1gig of ram, case, video card then just add a scsi drive. So why do you charge so much for a machine upgrade?

And it's bad spam when you alse name prices in your msg.

I think there should be something done against people spamming with prices on the board anyway.
If people are interested they can visit your website and find your prices there.

All dedicated servers come with 150GB Free Monthly so thats at a very minimum $100 value. We dont sell cheap servers because were not kmart and we dont ever plan to use cheap hardware.

We set our prices to be competetive and just to show an example one of our competetors offers this. Well they say Free Server and a 1000GB commitment for $1250 but we give you a better server and same bandwidth for $100 more and no commitment (see below).

Competetors offer..
PIII 1Ghz - 512Megs 40GB HD
1000/GB $1.25 $1250 a month

What we offer..
Dual PIII 933MHz 1024Megs 2 x 36GB SCSI
150/GB Free + 850/GB $.50 $1275 a month

We charge 1 time setup $400 for this server and over 6 months time is $1350 a month for a much better machine. Plus they dont provide and optional upgrade then what it comes factory with. We offer the whole bang for your buck and we have Bigger Drives and More Memory available anytime.

So get out the calculater again and do the math on what it really costs to house a server with no contract. Smaller servers normally use less bandwidth so we must make it up on the cost of the box.

Some competetors may offer you better rates on homemade boxes we use Factory Built IBM. This should answer most of your question about our prices..
