I've always done Thanksgiving and my mom does Christmas because everyone else acts like they can't or don't have enough room. My aunt and her new husband bought a brand new house this summer on the water about 3 miles from me. Plenty of room. We spent the entire summer helping her decorate it and listening to her run her mouth about how she'd have Thanksgiving this year, Christmas next year, and then us three would rotate.
She called me last week and said she can't do it because she and the husband aren't getting along and she doesn't even know if they'll still be together by Thanksgiving. I don't know what the hell that matters since she'll still be living in the damn house. She's probably lying to get out of it.
