So who won?

I think the extended deadlines are kinda cheating the guys that had their stuff done and up befor the first deadline. Its like winning the lotto and them drawing a new number later because not enough people bought the first time around. I think if the winner isnt one of the guys that made the first deadline then there should be a little something for the winner under the basis of the original deadline.

But its not my contest, and I didnt enter it, just giving my 2 cents.

nah - the first deadline was not long enough - AdultDesignContest even told me that i should make it longer - they were right, i was wrong. your comparison to a lottery is specious - the purpose of a design contest is for the person who puts up the contest to get what he wants - not just to award a designer a job or check. NatNet's logo design contest even had a rider in it that if they didn't like any of the logos that they wouldn't award the top prize - I don't have that option, the money is with ADC and there had to be a winner - I just wanted to make sure I had at least one or two designs that were worthy.
