I suspect the EU basically don't give a fuck about one religion vs the other. US is the one and only Israeli ally and EU has to consider the US and their wishes. On the other hand we have the whole oil perspective and potential economic benefits of a good relationship with the medieval Arab countries.

Also Ireland don't want Northern Ireland anyway, it makes no economic sense for them. They are one of the most prosperous countries in the EU right now, If Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland reunified it would be like East Germany & West Germany becoming Germany again, it would totally fuck up Irelands prosperous economyComment
