1) Huge faux pas from a social standpoint
2) Tremendous breach of professional protocol - imagine if a CEO did the same thing
3) Rude and demeaning to the leader of the world's 7th largest economy. DUMB.
4) Sexist behavior discredits America's pro-women PR spin around the world
5) Signals to the entire world (including America's enemies) that Bush is completely out of touch with the other G8 members, weakening the US position
6) Communicates Bush's lack of political savvy - he should have known how Merkel would react
