      AJAX to the rescue ....

      www.MP3tunes.com

You can make your playlists using their library of music for FREE, or for $40 a year you can upload your own muzik.

The great thing about it being AJAX-based, is that I can be using Photoshop, Blender 3D, and Dreamweaver at the same time, and my music player doesn't suck ANY resources from my system ...

Try www.pandora.com - you put in a search and it builds a radio playlist based on that search. You can the specify if you like/don't like a song and it adjusts your playlist accordingly. The new way to listen to adio.

Sounds like a Last.fm copycat - it was a great idea in theory, but you have to listen to alot of radio, and have to always be interrupting your workflow to vote for songs ...

By the time a few months has rolled by and you've pretty much got your list in order, what your listening to has now changed, as a bunch of new sh!t has come out by now ..... lol
