It is Iraq that admitted to having proscribed weapons and the terms of the 1991 cease fire required Saddam to present the proscribed weapons to the inspectors to oversee their destruction. When the inspectors left in 1998 there were still tons of chemical and liters of biological materials undestroyed. Resoultion 1441 required Iraq to produce these materials for the inspectors to oversee their destruction. Iraq did not do this, but instead claimed that they had destroyed them, but failed to produce documentation of the destruction and claimed they destroyed the documentation when they destroyed the proscribed materials. Even if one were to accept this ridiculous claim there would be physical evidence of the destruction of the proscribed materials. They failed to produce the physical proof of the destruction of the proscribed materials. They failed to produce the scientists and other personell that participated in the destruction of the proscribed materials.

Not only did the USA know that these proscribed weapons existed but most of the world knew that they existed and Iraq has to this day not presented one iota of proof that they have been destroyed, other than the claim that they have destroyed them.

Hans Blix made his final report today, and infact reiterated that Iraq had not fully complied. What part of Hans Blix' report do you not believe.

Blix is the ultimate nice guy. Every thing is great according to him. Which is fine, however he cannot even say that Iraq has complied with inspectors.
