The "Villains" thing is actually a season long thing - not just that episode. The episode was a creative clip show, showing things from earlier on in the series, with things happening pertaining to the current plot lines. It is all part of little Asian guys' trip.
I've been a reluctant fan of this series, yet I have been following it since it started last season. I really like the new Villain theme on the show, which I think was inevitable and desperately needed.

i thought the episode was amazing
skylar would not have been the serial killer had it not been for company.
linderman was not really the bad guy you though he was from the first season
yes it was a clip show but it exposed the things that corupted/redeemed the villians of the show. I have the feeling this episode is going to become one of the lynch pin episodes of the season.
Sort of like the episode where future hiro says "save the cheerleader save the world" in the first season.
