how many adult companies are in phx/scottsdale?

It used to be a private joke among the locals, now I know of 3 industry people that are moving here this year. I can name at least 15 adult companies in the Phx area right now. According to money (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/money.../2006/top100/), Scottsdale is now the 5th ?Best? place to live in the US (this was prompted by triumph?s thread). Did the phoenix forum have anything to do with it?

CCBill is in Phoenix (tempe), who else?

Everyone should know.........

Phoenix is one of the major mecca's for internet based Adult companies. Yeah, its 114 here, so what. You can't beat the winter here. Its worth the 3 months of heat. Not to mention, we have the Phoenix Cardinals...........

scottsdale is a great place to be. Its hot in the summer time, but if you can get past the summer the rest of the year is great.

lots of people in some parts of AZ (tempe/scottsdale are the ones that initially come to mind) take very good care of themselves/high-self esteem/respect

i grew up in Glendale, reminds me why i was soo happy to get out of that place after being there 11 years...

good weather, lots of things to do outdoors, almost like socal, but w/o the beach

phx definately seems like it would be a cool place to live. CCBill certainly has something to do with it. But it's not hard to understand why there are so many people shooting content / develping paysites and programs in AZ. Lightspeed, ftv, sweetapples developed there cuz of the girls. Well the only really bad time is during the monsoons when the humidity is up and its all hazy outside. Aside from the summer months, the weather is perfect otherwise. Plus if I want to see green or snow in the winter time, I just drive up to the mountains outside of tucson. Thats also a good thing to do this time of the year to escape the summer heat.

The cost of living is high in Phoenix, but here in Tucson its very low. The downfall to that is we drive 90 miles to Phoenix every week to shoot because thats where all the traveling talent goes when they come to AZ.

I am a huge fan of Four Peaks. That could be a fun place. Good food, outdoor and indoor to keep the smokers happry and micro brew. Fucking tasty. Plus then we can get to Dos Gringos if we got sick of Four Peaks... they are about 5 seconds away lol ;-)
