So I took the midget canoing today right? I had heard rumors of this family reunion I was supposed to attend but pretty much was blowing it off.
So on the way back from the river I got a call from Mom. She was whining, etc. You know how it is.
Long story short:
We went to the family thing. I hate my family, just so you know. Anyway we get there, eat tons of food, do the obligatory pretending that we actually like the people who share the same blood but would be fucked if they ever had to rely on us to identify their body in the morgue, if you follow me.
Theres always some gay shit happening at my family reunions, and thats why I avoid them; and have actually considered sending Anthrax several times.
This year, it was a Father/Son or Father/Daughter talent show.
I'm not even sure how it all happened, but me and the Girl ended up participating.
Do not ask how I know how to do the Twist, or why I'm goofy enough to teach it to my kid.
Do not ask how there happened to be a cd with Los Lobos' cover of "Summertime Blues" and Richie V's "Come on let's go" in my car.
Anyway, we won.
